Leigh Art trial Auction

I'm posting this image today of my painting "Wanstead trees"  which will be auctioned at 7.30pm on Friday 18th November at the Leigh Community Centre to raise money for the Leigh Art Trail.  I joined the trail three years ago and each year artists donate a piece of work to the auction which helps to boost funds to get the trail to get going the next year.   It's  painted from a photo I took a few years ago and a couple of weeks ago I painted a smaller sketchier version as a demonstration piece in one of my classes.

Great Mead Commission

Here's a picture of Great Mead which is a commissioned painting that I've just finished.   I delivered it yesterday and it was unveiled at the residents garden party.

Punch and Judy show.

Here's a couple of sketches I did on Saturday whilst sitting at my stall at the "End of Term" event at Chalkwell park.    The children and adults were all watching a life sized punch and Judy show.  The sketches are a bit unfinished but I might at some point try and work them up a bit in some form memory.

Old Leigh Beach

Had a lovely day yesterday.   We cycled to Old Leigh, chilled out on the beach and I painted this little sketch from the beach  while my son Lyndon played.
